RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

All The ZARIKAARI India products are handwoven using organic fibers and threads which are delicate and require proper care. Since handcrafting intricate designs and motifs take a lot of effort and time. That is why we only accept returns in special circumstances, when it’s absolutely necessary. Having said that, we rarely receive any return request and we promise to provide the best online shopping experience to our customers on zarikaariindia.com.


What is the return policy?

All our products are carefully handcrafted by Experienced Artisans and Go through strict quality control before shipping.
We never compromise on quality and assure you of a great shopping experience with us.

If you receive a product that does not comply with the specifications as per your original order or damaged/ defective product you can raise a return request of eligible products from the Returns Center OR can mail us at info@zarikaariindia.com within 48 Hours of receiving the product. 
We do not accept return or exchange if the product is customized as per your need or request.
The item that you wish to return must be eligible for return.

After analysing the reason for return,  zarikaariindia.com shall verify the authenticity and the nature of the complaint / reason and if we are convinced that the complaint is genuine, we will start the procedure of replacement and 
will arrange a pick-up from your place (reverse pick up may not be available on selected pin codes).
Return will be processed only if:

- it is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession;

- If the Return or Exchange is requested within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. 

- the product is not different from what was shipped to you;

- the product is returned in original condition (with manufacturer's packaging, MRP tag intact, )

In order to return any products, you are required to comply with the below mentioned conditions,

• Please notify zarikaariindia.com of receipt of a product within 48 Hours of your order reaching you. If you are unable to do so within 48 hours, we shall not be held liable for the failure to replace the order.
RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY FOR LEHENGA
Customers have an option to swap the Lehenga for a different design if it doesn't meet their expectations. We provide Exchange for customer satisfaction and a smoother shopping experience
▪️ We offer "No Return, Only Exchange" policy for Lehengas.
▪️ If you wish to exchange the Lehenga for any reason, You can exchange the Lehenga within 48 hours of delivery.
▪️ To be eligible for an exchange, the Lehenga must be unused, unwashed, and have all the tags attached.
▪️ Make sure the Lehenga is in its original packaging.
▪️ For exchange, restocking charges will be applied.
▪️The restocking charge covers the costs associated with processing the exchange.
* Damaged Product Replacement *
▪️ In case you receive a damaged Lehenga Please contact our customer support within 48 hours of receiving the product to report the damage.
▪️ We will arrange a free replacement of the same design.

No returns, refunds or exchanges will be accepted for the following items:

  • Custom made products/Products personalised to your requirement .
  • Buy 1 Get 1 Sale (Free Saree Sale) .
  • On the products with which it is specifically mentioned that it is not eligible for return/exchange.
  • Product Sold during clearance, festival sale, offers and Coupon applied Sale.
  • Luxury Collection Products 9000 and above (In an exceptional cases we only exchange)
  • No Returns , no refunds for Lehengas. Only exchange.

    1. Bank Refund- We refund the amount minus Rs.150/-(adjusted towards shipping & re-stocking charges) per product in your bank account. We need following bank details - Name, A/c no., IFSC Code, Bank,Branch to process the refund. These details need to be provided by the customer along with the mail for return request. 

  • If the return is due to an error on our part (incorrect item sent, damaged/defective product), we will replace the product .
  • Refund process (if customer requests for refund) will start only after we receive back the product and validate the return. Post receipt of the return package, we will proceed to inspect the same. In case a reverse pick-up is not done for any reason(due to any reason owing to customer or the courier company's mistake), responsibility lies on the customer to contact Zari Banaras to arrange for the pickup again. Failure to contact Zari Banaras timely to arrange the reverse pick-up again may lead to rejection for exchange/return request. Return requests will only be entertained if the customer has accepted only untempered package.

Once approved as an eligible return, we will issue your refund of the appropriate amount within 10-15 days. If however the return is found not eligible for refund, we will courier the same back to you. In either scenario your return issue may be closed within 20-30 days of our receiving of the return package from you. The zarikaari India will not be liable for any damage that happens during return shipping.


The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by The Zarikaari India and accept The Zarikaari India’s decision regarding the return validation that is - if the product is valid to be accepted as return or not. Non-Valid return will be sent back to the customer and the customer will be blacklisted for future purchases.


Repeated refusal of COD orders might lead to barring of COD facility without any intimation. For repeated return of products from a customer i.e. more than 30% of the delivered products, the customer will be intimated that future orders on non-cancellation and non-return basis. Afterwards, all future orders will be processed on mentioned conditions.


Items to be returned must be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged. Return items will only be accepted in their original packaging, including but not limited to:  BOPP bags, tags attached on garments (tags should be attached to the product in its original condition, if tags are unattached or cut from the product in any means the return or exchange will not be accepted), boxes or tamperproof bags and all other items received by the customer. Any item/items that have been damaged, soiled, altered or not in its original condition will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.

It takes 5 quick steps to return a product:

Step 1: Request a return.

Step 2: We will verify your request.

Step 3: A reverse pick-up will be scheduled.

Step 4: You will receive a credit voucher* for the amount of the style/s returned after the package has been shipped back to and received by zarikaariindia.

Step 5: A size exchange equals a new order to be placed.



Refunds are made as follows:

If the payment was made in cash then the refund is made in the form of a bank transfer. 
If the payment is made using a credit/debit card (or any form of net banking) then the amount is credited back to the same account/card from which the payment was made.



Can I cancel my order before receiving the product ?

If unfortunately you have to cancel an order, please do so within 24 hours of placing the order by cancel your order in order history or contacting us at info@zarikaariindia.com 


  • If you cancel your order within 24 hours, we will refund the full amount to the card used for making the payment.
  • No request for cancellation will be entertained after 24 hours of placing the order.



What to do if the product is damaged in transit ?

If you think, you have received the product in a bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person. Also, please email us at info@zarikaariindia.com mentioning your Order ID.
We will personally ensure that a brand new replacement is issued to you with no additional cost. 

Return request will not be accepted through any other medium like email, Facebook / Instagram chat or phone call.

When you return the product to the courier guy, it is mandatory to take a receipt ( physical or through message). In case of lost shipment we will need the proof of return by you.



Exchange Policy:

You have to raise an exchange request. You can log in to your account if you already have one or create a new one using the same email id which is used while placing the order. There is an exchange option available and we will arrange for the pick up from your doorstep.
Once we have it with us, we will ship the replacement product to you within 5-7 working days. Please note ZARIKAARI will arrange for the pick up from your door step.
Exchange is not possible if the saree has fall and edging done to it.
Exchange would not be accepted if the product was customized
for you.
If you want to exchange the product you ordered for with another
product of higher amount, we would give you a coupon code for the amount of the product you returned. You can use this code while placing order and pay the balance amount on your next purchase.
 If you want to exchange your product with another product of
lower amount, we would ship the product as soon as we receive it and the balance would be given in the form of credit note. 
Return or exchange of the exchanged product is not possible.
No discount will be given on exchange orders



INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS


RETURNS BY INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER


1. If unfortunately you wish to cancel the order, please do it before your order gets shipped.
2. If you cancel your order before your order gets shipped, we will refund the amount with 5% deduction from the whole amount as there will be PayPal transaction fees charged .
3. If you have received the product and you do not like it, the same can be shipped back within 2 days and email us the courier receipt on global@zarikaariindia.com. The shipping charges for sending the product back has to be borne by the customer. 5% of PayPal transaction amount will be deducted from the refund.
4. Once we receive the products, a strict quality check would be done by our team. Please make sure that the original packing is intact when you courier it back to us .
5. The amount refunded to you would be only for the products.
6. We unfortunately do not have exchange policy for the international customers.
7. Once the product goes into customization process the order cannot be cancelled.
8. For Returns - Freight charges and custom duty to be borne by the customer.
Products should be eligible for return,
Not all products are eligible for returns. Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing.

ZARIKAARI team must receive and approve your return request. Once your request is received and approved, you will be asked to ship across the products to India, the shipping cost will not be borne by The Zarikaari India. Return Address will be confirmed to you by mail only.
Responsibility of the safety of the product returned by the customer lies with the customer only. Zarikaari will not be held responsible for the damage caused during the transit of the product from the customer to Zarikaari return address.
Once returns are received by us and clear quality checks, you can choose to receive store credit or get a refund on your original credit or debit card used for payment. A deductible re-stocking fee of Rs.1500-3000/- per product will be applicable for all the returns.

In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, you should email us at  global@zarikaariindia.com  a photo of the damaged product with. You must email us about any damaged items in your shipment within 48 hours of receiving your order. In such cases, we offer a full refund after evaluating the condition at our end. 

All Custom Duties levied for return of the product will be borne by the customer.

All returns are subject to the discretion of Zarikaari.

Please note that there may be certain orders that we are unable to accept/fulfill and can be cancelled. We reserve the right at our sole discretion to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include but are not limited to limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verification or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your credit card has been charged the said amount will be reversed back in your Card Account. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by The Zarikaari India and accept The Zarikaari India’s decision regarding the cancellation.
